How do I know if the accommodation is available?

For every property there is an availability calendar. View the availability calendar for the selected holiday accommodation here: 1 >> If the travel dates are free you can book the aIf the accommodation is available during your travel dates you can make a binding booking for the accommodation. For security purposes you will recieve a booking confirmation within 24 hours by email. If you don\'t receive this booking confirmation, you can phone us up to question this. Where can I find information about the furnishings and equipment of the accommodation e.g. number of beds, equipment for children, kitchen equipment or internet access?

If babies or small children are travelling, must I include them in the number of people when doing a search? Are there discounts for children?

Every person travelling must be included in the total so this means babies and children must also be counted. Many owners offer discounts for children. The minimum length of booking of a property is longer than I would like to book it for. Are exceptions possible?

The minimum length of booking for the selected properties is binding. However, if you are planning your trip for the next couple of weeks or if your trip fills a gap, then it is possible to enquire about an exception. To do this you first have to select a property.

When and how do I receive the booking confirmation. ?
|
|

Immediately after you have made a booking you will receive an email which confirms that we have RECIEVED the your booking. You will receive another email within 24 hours with the booking confirmation. If you do not receive this email, please get in contact by telephone or email. This can take longer outside of office hours.

When and how does payment take place (deposit and balance)?

Deposit:
You will receive our account details with the booking confirmation so that you can pay the deposit of 20% plus bank charges. Please do not pay more. If you would like to pay by credit card you can use our partner paypal.com .Please use our email address as the recipient. If you will arrive within less than 10 days you do not need to pay a deposit.
Payment/Balance
For bookings made on very short notice you generally pay 80% or 100% in cash on arrival. In exceptional cases and only with the agreement of the owner, other methods of payment may be agreed. The owner is also entitled to ask you to pay by transfer. You will receive the account details of the owner to do this. It is important that the correct amount is credited before the arrival date. Transfers can, for example, be required if the owner does not live near the property.

Can I cancel a booking and how much are the cancellation fees?

Contact person, address and arrival

How and where does the handing over of the keys for the booked property take place?
|
|

As soon as the deposit for your booking is received, you will receive detailed information about the booked property including contact information for the contact person on the day of arrival by email. Please contact this person at least 2 days before the day you are due to arrive to agree the arrival time in person.
For bookings made at short notice you will receive the information by email with the booking confirmation.
In 99% of cases, the handing over of the keys and an introduction to the property is carried out within the accommodation itself. Very few properties have a reception in the building.
In rare cases the keys are collected at a neighbouring address. However, if this is the case it will be indicated on the accommodation offer. Also in very rare cases, keys could be sent to you by post. This will also be made clear in the property offer.

Is it possible to check in earlier than indicated or to leave my baggage at the property earlier?

Whether or not you are able to check in early depends on various factors. In any case, this can only be decided in discussion with the owner shortly before your arrival. If an earlier arrival is necessary for you, then you must also pay for the previous night.

Is it a problem if I arrive late?

If something does not go smoothly with the arrival whom should I contact?

It is very rare that something goes wrong during an arrival. To make sure that nothing can go wrong you should get in contact and make arrangements with the contact person by email or telephone. Some landlords will request that you phone them again on the day of arrival to confirm the agreed arrival time. Before you leave, please ensure that the owner also has your mobile number so that they can reach you in the event of an emergency.

If something is not right with the property who do I contact?
|

The property should have the basic features described in the offer of the accommodation. Do not hesitate to point out any shortcomings immediately upon your arrival or during your stay. Every owner should strive to resolve these shortcomings. The first person to contact in such cases is always the named contact person. If this person is unable to help you with the matter then you can contact us.
